If your Chromebook is plugged in and still will not power on, there are a couple easy things to try that may let you get your Chromebook back up and running without the need for the support department.
Please follow the instructions below in an effort to quickly resolve the problem with the Chromebook:
Hard reset your Chromebook
Perform a hard reset by holding down the power and refresh keys simultaneously for 10 seconds.
Location of the Refresh key:
Then check to see if the charging indicator light turns on when you plug in the charger.
If it does not, see the below second "hard reset" process.
If the above reset does not work for you, follow the steps below:
- Turn off your Chromebook.
- Press and hold Refresh + tap Power .
- When your Chromebook starts up, release Refresh
